The Yorkshire Dales Ice Cream Farm, has had their well known cream and brown vans all over the Yorkshire Dales for many years, but they have opened Billy Bob's Parlour, which has become a very popular place to visit. This great place is situated in the very picturesque Yorkshire dales and has a great outdoor space, providing a great kids play area (see my pictures below, unfortunately taken on a bit of a grey day). There is an American Diner style interior, with generously spacious booths for families or groups of friends to enjoy some gorgeous ice cream sundaes! Although the ice cream sundaes are a great reason to visit, they also do other hot food, like Burgers, hot dogs and Panini's.
On a return visits to the parlour, we have seen them continue to make improvements, including extending the car park, new “rolling” tables on wheels, 2 large barns on the left side of the car park, which are filled with hay bales, creating a play area for younger children in 1 barn and older children in the other, a great addition, further extending the attraction for families.
Trying to get a table inside has always been a challenge, but with extensions to the dining area and the ability to now book a table online, we don't have to travel without knowing if we'll get a table, unless you are just going to call in whilst your out, which we did on a return journey from the lake district, as it was a week day when most people were at work and it was empty, so we finally got to sit inside and see what they've done and to my surprise there was an old American bus inside!
We made an unplanned visited again in March 2017, this time we jut went for ice cream and we found they had done some more work on the outside extension, meaning there are now two rocking benches on the decking just outside the main door and thankfully it was a nice day, there was a bench fee, so for a change it was nice to not have to go back and sit in the car, we sat there for a while just relaxing and the style of the building reminded me of our visit to disneyland paris, but without the snow!

I highly recommend a visit, especially if you have kids!
