We first visited Stockeld Park in November 2007 with some friends, since then there has been quite a few changes. On both occasions, we chose to do the enchanted forest and snowflake maze, the maze has definitely matured since our visit in 2007, as we can no longer see over the top! There has also been several changes to the enchanted forest, not just changes to the illuminated sculptures, but the addition of play areas for the kids (we couldn't see much of them in the dark). If you feel more energetic than we did, you can do the Nordic Skiing trail and/or Ice Skating on their outdoor skating rink is very popular with the younger generation. There’s a shop to look around and a large indoor food hall, so it is a great family attraction, where you can easily spend half a day with the family and they do different themed events throughout the year, like the Firework Spectacular for Bonfire Night and Christmas Adventure, so for more information or to plan your visit, take a look at their website and signup to their newsletter, click here, to be kept informed with upcoming events.
The pictures below are from our most recent visit in December 2015 and below them are our pictures from 2007.
