On arrival, we decided to do the Safari first, which is quite long, took us approx 2 hours, but it is Brilliant! Very well laid out, loads of natural space and a good mixture of animals, which also meant you didn't have to have the car windows closed (on a scorching hot day like we had) for long periods. There are loads of animals you could see up close, including my wife’s favourite, the Giraffes, which I was lucky enough to feed one from my car window (there are also VIP experiences available to feed the animals, click here to find out more).

We thought the entry cost was fair and although rides are not included in the admission price, this suited us, as I am not a big fan of rides, so you could choose which rides you wanted to go on, but there was also a rides wristband available to purchase and have a variety of rides, including the smaller kids’ rides at Cubs Kingdom.
They had plenty for you to see, including Penguin Cove, which was New for 2012, Meerkats, Snakes, Bats and many more.
This is truly a Great Day out for all and kids will love it!
Take a look at my pictures below, which were taken on the safari.
