We had just been to Frankie and Benny's for breakfast, so we entered the centre at the food hall 'The Orient', truthfully I had forgotten what The Trafford Centre looked like, having not been for a while and I’m not a fan of the large indoor shopping centres, as they usual lack enough variety for me, so I’m happy to let my wife go without me, however I was quite impressed with its grand entrance and it reminded me of the shopping malls we had visited in Florida.
We spent about 3 hours walking 'round, but I'm sure you could spend even longer and it would be nice to stop for lunch in The Orient, maybe after you’ve completed the lower floor shops and then continue upstairs in the afternoon. It’s a very popular shopping centre, so can get extremely busy, you may want to visit the Trafford Centre one day, book a Premier Inn to stay overnight locally, then go into Manchester Town Centre the next day.
