Cambridge – Visited March 2013
The Grafton Centre is a 5-10 minute walk along the main road from the Queen Anne Multi-Storey Car Park and has a typical selection of shops, like Debenhams, New Look, Barratts, BHS, O2, 3 store all on one level, with a Vue cinema and food court upstairs. The Grand Arcade is a more modern, upmarket, shopping centre, with shops such as John Lewis, La Senza, Swarovski, River Island and Fossil. There was also an outdoor market, which was a lot more interesting to the typical markets you usually find. Cambridge is a very big place, with lots of shops and lots of great buildings to see, but I was surprised to see the amount of bicycles around. We will definitely return for another visit, but we will more likely book a hotel so we can stay for a longer visit.

Norfolk Broads
I have been on the broads a couple of times and I really enjoy it everytime! We hired a day boat with my wife's parents from Wroxham one day and it was beautiful and definitely worth considering.

_When hiring a boat for a week, it's
not always the picture most people paint of living on a boat for a
week, the toilets are small and having a shower is a challenge and there
is not a massive amount of space in the bedrooms, unless you get a
living room that converts to a doulbe bedroom, then you most likely have
the best room, if your prepared to be up before everyone else. I would
suggest you consider getting a slightly larger boat than necessary, so
if there is 8 of you, look for a boat for 10 people, it will just give
you that little bit of extra space. If you can afford to do it, get a
more luxurious boat, however do your research, some of the higher
specification boats, can cost 1000's to hire for a week. The Norfolk
Broads is not a cheap holiday, if you compare it to going abroad for a
week and the fact you can't guarantee the weather here in the UK.
It's all about the experience of boating, but it's not for everyone, ladies, hairstraightners will be no good unless you pick a boat with 240v, we've made this mistake, not that it was an issue for me with my hair. You also need to consider which direction you will travel, not all boats can get under some of the bridges and as we found out on our last trip, heading towards Great Yarmouth is not necessarily the nicest route of the broads, so email or ring the company you wish to hire the boat from for advice and how long they think it will take you to get to places and back in time for handing the boat back to them.

Hunstanton - Last Visit June 2013
A very nice coastal village, with shops, restaurants and amusements, we have visited a few times and would recommend you visit.

Blakeney
Wells Next The Sea - Last Visit May 16
In the town there are a couple of car parks, a narrow one down on the front and a larger one a bit further along on the left, however if you carry on heading out (travelling from the east), there’s another large car park on your right. From this car park its a 5 minute walk along a gravel path past a small skate park, Wells Town F.C ground and park at the end on your right.
From here you can cross the road and go left along a path at the side of the estuary and on a breezy day you see the sail boats fighting there way zig zaging back and forth. Arriving at the end is the Pinewoods Holiday Park, another large car park (with toilets and cafe) on your left and fishing boats to your right. Continue walking straight ahead and it opens out to the sea and a small slip, but to your left walk across a wooden bridge and you're on the beach, with a row of beach hutches stretching along the beach into the distance.
Brancaster Staithe harbour
This is a beautiful place to stop for a driving break or stop for your picnic in the car.

Burnham Overy Staithe
Another beautiful stopping place for a driving break, sandwiches and a coffee or tea, providing you take your own flask and picnic, like we do.

A very nice place, with a beautiful church in the middle of town and you can walk along the seafront.

Great Yarmouth - Last Visit June 2013
A very large seaside resort with lots of amusements, shops and restaurants, a very long seafront to walk along and there's even the quay to walk down to, it's a very popular place.

Wroxham & Hoverton
Only small, both villages appear to merge into one, it's a very nice place to visit and as mentioned in my norfolk broads report above, it is worth taking a boat trip out on broads, it's cheaper to to take a boat out on your own and drive and then you can go wherever you want. Below are our pictures from a trip out in a day boat from Wroxham, so if you not sure about a holiday on water, take out a boat for a few hours and i'm sure you'll enjoy it!

Southwold
We visited in April 2010 and it was late in the day, so most shops were closed, however it is worth visiting, although it's only a small place, but there is a long beach to walk along and a pier with the water clock.
